 *1983 – 1997 Pastor of White Springs Baptist Church (Lizella)

Ministerial Leadership

*Represents the longest tenured Pastor in the UMBC history of 151 year’s existence since 1986
*Organized the first Unionville Summer Christian Camp in 1997
*Orchestrated the purchase of the 38,208 square foot facility location currently Unionville Missionary Baptist Church
*Instituted ‘GOD’s First Pledge” to liquidate the UMBC thirty-year mortgage
*Established the R. J. Fambro Scholarship Fund
*Established the “Brown Bag” Food Program
*Organized the Maturing Disciples Ministry & Noon-Day Bible Study
*Increased church growth in Membership, Church School, Mid-Week Worship, and financial & spiritually instilled areas
*President of the Sixth District Convention since 2003 and has led a successive District raising capital in excess of half
million dollars, and maintains award winning attendance and participation as the leading District of GMBC, INC.
*Instrumental in acquiring a 16,811 square foot structure known as the I. E. Mack Fellowship & Worship Center
*Established an annual Toy-A-Rama with the UMBC Clothing Ministry that has provided 650+ toys and gift items to
neighboring children since 2009
*Contributor to the finalization process of deed acquisitions for residential properties gifted UMBC from the Ann Fincher
Estate, and additional property from Sunrise Bank of Jeffersonville
*Organized UMBC as a host site for distribution of 500+ food boxes with Forest Hills United Methodist Church
*Coordinated and co-sponsored a City-Wide ‘Stop the Violence’ March with the Thanksgiving Unity Church Fellowship
*Opening prayer honoree for the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame Museum induction of UMBC member and former standout
professional NFL Pittsburg Steeler, J. T. Thomas
*Prominent public relations spokesperson featured in State Bank & Trust television and billboard marketing
*Inspiringly and spiritually led UMBC disciples to ceremoniously liquidate a 30 year, $2.1-million-dollar mortgage within
seventeen years in October 2011
*Coordinated a successful Thanksgiving Food Outreach event with the TUCF to offer Evangelistic Support, complimentary
Health Screenings and Holiday meal boxes for 819+ Middle Georgia families

A native of Cochran, Georgia, Dr. Ike Edwin Mack was born to Ms. Ilean Gordon. He was nurtured, reared, and divinely directed by his great-
grandmother, Mrs. Lethia Wright, and godparents, Mrs. Ruth Roberson and the late Rev. Wilson C. Roberson. Dr. Mack was nourished with

graceful qualities, stern substance, and seasoned maturity that would embolden his spiritual formation, align his personal growth and
ultimately shape him into the minister he was destined to be! Dr. Ike Edwin Mack is married to the former Eloise Cliett of Byron, Georgia, and
they are the delightfully honored parents of one daughter, Brittany Chemere Mack.
