OUR MOTTO
"The power of positive influence is the link to connect the community, which allows nobody to be left behind."
OUR MISSION
To educate, encourage, and empower youth and adults regarding the fields of Media Production, Technology, Health, and Technical Skills while using the power of positive influence as a link to connect the youth and the adult community which allows nobody to be left behind.
WHO ARE WE?
Welcome to Young Divine Minds, a program centered around the involvement of the power of positive influence in the life of youth and adults in the community which allows them to be the best they can be. Young Divine Minds, Inc. (YDM) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to educate, encourage and empower both the youth and the adult community regarding the areas of Film Production, Multifamily Maintenance Apprenticeship Program (M.M.A.P), Basic Facility Maintenance, Music Production and Music Business, Certified Nursing Assitant (C.N.A. and P.C.A), Computer Networking, Radio Broadcasting, and includes coaching in areas of Middle to High School Transitioning, High School to College Transitioning, and Adult Life Transitioning, and Life Development.

YDM for the youth is taking advantage of the idea proposed of adding the “A” in representation of the arts (i.e., creativity) that turned S.T.E.M. into S.T.E.A.M, and with the gaining of it's momentum determined to show the importance of the “A” to being justifiably important.
YDM has been created to be a major factor for the solution of reversing the statistics listed within organizations such as The Sentencing Project and Criminal Facts that have calculated young adults and teen youth born between 1991-2001 as labeled statistically 3 out of 18 males to be incarcerated in a State or Federal Correctional Facility.

YDM will be the catalyst that reverses the statistics for the students involved in YDM programs while enrolled and upon completion, with our E.P.O. (End of Program Outcome) statically showing a major decrease for youth and adults incarcerated in Federal Correctional Facilities, gang affiliation, and teen pregnancy. YDM's E.P.O. is to have a major increase with high school graduation rates in communities leading to successful employment rates and youth evolving into positive productive adults, which destroys the revolving door that infests our communities and school districts.

YDM comes full circle with the completion of the program giving students certified skills, and training that can be used as proven apprenticeship hours or collegiate applicable credits supported through ACE Credit. During each students tenure there will also be the involvement of additional workshops that include the improvement of parent and child relationship skills with the importance of independent health awareness, as well as our adult students developing their skills.

YDM believes that everybody was birthed on the earth with an individual purpose. We are committed to helping each of our students identify their purpose, as well as cultivate their gifts, talents and abilities that will aid them in fulfilling their life given purpose. It is imperative that we seek to implement our locally developed “Young Divine Minds” an organization to be planted throughout communities. This is part of the catalyst for our vision!

YDM is a new and improved organization of the millennium. Understanding that with the shift of a new generation comes change, YDM gives a since of purpose by allowing them to exercise their gifts to be perfected into skills to become substantial contributing citizens with the responsibility to help one become one. They leave YDM with collegiate applicable credits, apprenticeship and training certificates, skills, and proven work hours to have the opportunity to work in the field of their purpose or apply this to continue to a higher educational facility.
